End of the world

この作品は、ひとりの音楽家の不在から生まれた 静かな祈りと、消えずに残る熱へのオマージュである。 ギターを握る手の重さ、 歌声が立ち上がる直前の呼吸、 ステージの闇に浮かびあがる表情。 それらはすべて、かつて確かにそこにあった“衝動”の残り火を 写し留めようとする試みだ。 もう触れることのできない声。 しかし、誰かの胸の奥で今も鳴り続けているリフや言葉は、 時間を越えて生き延びてゆく。 写真は、失われたものを記録するためでなく、 “まだ消えていないもの”を見つめるためにある。 この作品が、あなたの中に残る記憶や感情と そっと響き合うことを願っている。

This work is an homage to a quiet prayer born from the absence of a musician,
and to the heat that refuses to fade.
The weight of hands gripping a guitar,
the breath held just before a voice begins to rise,
the expression emerging from the darkness of the stage.
All of these are attempts to preserve the embers of an impulse
that once undeniably existed.
A voice that can no longer be touched.
Yet the riffs and words that continue to resonate deep within someone’s chest
survive beyond time.
Photography is not meant to record what has been lost.
It exists to look at what has not yet disappeared.
I hope this work quietly resonates
with the memories and emotions that remain within you.
